Salesforce Translator is a Chrome extension that helps Salesforce administrators and developers bulk-upload metadata translations to their own Salesforce organization from a CSV file. This policy explains exactly what the extension accesses and how that information is handled.
Everything runs locally in your browser. The extension communicates only with the Salesforce organization you are already logged into. Nothing is sent to the developer or any third party. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no external servers.
Your Salesforce session — Used to authenticate requests to your own Salesforce organization so translations can be validated and deployed.
The CSV data you provide — The label names, languages, and translated values you paste or upload.
Metadata from your org — Custom label names and enabled languages, read only to validate your input before deployment.
All processing happens locally within your browser. The information above is used solely to validate your translations and deploy them to the Salesforce organization you are logged into. It is never used for any other purpose.
